DIET profs propose researches for funding

Faculty members from the Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology presented their research proposals during the CvSU Research Grant (CRG) and Faculty Student Research Capability Enhancement Program (FSRCEP) Proposal Presentation at the Hostel Tropicana, Cavite State University on March 7, 2018.

Prof. Mary Joyce P. Alcazar presented the project entitled “Project PETMALU: Providing Efficiencies, Techniques, and Methods for the Attainment of a Lean University” while Prof. Gerry M. Castillo presented the project entitled “Project ERGO: Development of Ergonomically Designed Tools for Various Industries Utilization.” The two projects will involve all Industrial Engineering faculty members and students when approved. Prof. Willie C. Buclatin will lead the two projects. Moreover, Prof. Danielito R. Escaño presented the project entitled “Solar Powered Microcontroller-Based Coffee Sorter” The project will also involve other Industrial Technology Instructors in the department.
