PIIE-CSC conducts outreach activity

The Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers-Cavite State University Student Chapter (PIIE-CSC) conducted an outreach program on December 8, 2016 at San Jose Balay Alima Foundation Inc. in Carasuchi, Indang, Cavite. Industrial engineering students and instructors have provided simple gifts and other necessities to beneficiaries of the foundation. The program includes serenading and feeding the elders, games, and gift giving.

CEIT profs present paper on international conference

Prof. Willie C. Buclatin, DIET chair, presented a paper together with Profs. Marlon R. Pereña and Jo Anne C. Nuestro at the 1st International Conference and Competition on Engineering, Education, Management,  Science and Technology held on December 3-5, 2016 at the Puerto Prinsesa City, Palawan. Quantum, Inc. sponsored the conference.

DIET donate tables

The Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology (DIET) donated 12 multipurpose trapezoid tables to the Day Care Center of Alulod, Indang, Cavite. The tables were output of third year industrial engineering students  to the subject Industrial Materials and Processes handled by Mr. Gerry M. Castillo.

Mr. Garry M. Cahibaybayan, DIET faculty member attended the mechatronics and robotics convention on November 28-29, 2016 at the DOST, Taguig City. Mechatronics and Robotics Society of the Philippines (MRSP) sponsored the event.

Prof. Buclatin wins in GAD research competition

Prof. Willie C. Buclatin won second place on his paper presented at the GAD research conference on November 29, 2016 at Hostel Tropicana, Cavite State University. Prof. Buclatin received a certificate and cash prize.
