BIT students present thesis proposal

BIT students presenting their thesis title proposal to the panel.
Bachelor of Industrial Technology students presented their thesis title proposal at the DIET Display room on September 13-14, 2017. Faculty members of the respective major served as the panel of evaluators. The presentation was also attended by the DIET Chairperson and Unit Research Coordinator.

Automotive Servicing NC II passers

The Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology congratulates the passers of Automotive Servicing NC II assessment conducted at the Sisters of Mary, Silang, Cavite on September 8, 2017. Cavite State University obtained a 100% passing percentage from this assessment.

DIET students attend seminar

Graduating students under the program of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Bachelor of Industrial Technology attended the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) Research and Extension Seminar and Gender Mainstreaming at CvSU Quadrangle on September 7, 2017. The seminar aimed to provide an understanding about the research and extension functions of the University and promote the twin goals of the Gender and Development Office which are gender equality and women’s empowerment.

Castillo attends OBE seminar

Prof. Gerry M. Castillo, Industrial Engineering instructor of the Department of Industrial Engineering  and Technology, attended the Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) Seminar at the Hostel Tropicana, Cavite State University on September 7, 2017. Other select faculty members from the College of Engineering and Information Technology also attended the seminar.

Buclatin serves as Accreditor

Prof. Willie C. Buclatin, DIET Chairperson, served as member of the AACCUP accrediting team for Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in Isabela State University, Cauayan, Isabela on September 4-7, 2017. The two programs are both candidates for Level III status.

Castillo attends TMP general assembly

Mr. Gerry M. Castillo, Program On-The-Job Training Coordinator for BSIE, BSAE, and BIT-AT of the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT), attended the general assembly for production trainees on August 30, 2017 at Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), Corporation, in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna. The assembly is a biannual activity of TMP that aims to gather their partner school Coordinators together with the current trainees of the company. A safety seminar and business meeting highlighted the activity.
