The Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology (DIET) successfully conducted its annual extension program (40-hours) for the out-of-school youth (OSYs) of Barangay Alulod on July 4-7, 2016 at the College of Engineering and Information Technology. This was participated in by more than 15 out-of-school youth from the adopted barangay. The extension program focused on the training for the following areas of specialization:
- basic safety and health;
- automotive servicing;
- electronics servicing; and
- electrical installation and maintenance.
